The
M3 Square marking gauge uses the tri square blade to determine the appropriate
depth range - up to 9" with a standard blade. The M3 Scribe unit is fixed
to the blade with an adjustable pinch bolt.
The M3 Scribe's neck alignment is designed to provide an optimal angle
for either a pencil, scribe or cutting blade that will provide a smooth,
accurate and precise marking or cutting line.
Because the M3 Scribe is flat lying and the contact face area of the stock
is larger than on a standard woodworking gauge the result is much greater
stability and a reduction of wobble. This makes the M3 Square much easier
to use for both beginners and seasoned woodworking professionals than
traditional marking gauges.
