The
M3 Square is a unique innovation in tri square design. With its precision
winged stock it is capable of marking two edges of a component or workpiece
at once - i.e. the face and face-edge.
With a normal tri square you would have to move it three times to mark
all four sides of a component and be very careful to align each mark correctly.
The M3 Square needs to be moved only once to accomplish the same task
with only one alignment necessary. Clearly this will make your woodwork
marking out quicker and more accurate.
With the bevel blade extended as show here the M3 Square is stable resting
on the board edge hands-free. This means you will not lose your marking
line position on the workpiece should you get distracted by another activity
- "You're wanted on the telephone..."
