The Mini Mach is a self adjusting, lightweight vacuum clamping bed, that grips itself to your worksurface and is powered by your workshop or domestic cylinder vacuum cleaner.
The Mini Mach enables you to hold workpieces for handheld machining processes, leaving the top surface clamp free. The Mini Mach is dependant on two simple but essential items, a cylinder vacuum cleaner and a flat work surface. The Mini Mach can be used to hold a component whilst: Batten free belt sanding, single pass all edge routing, hand planing and shape/template copying, the Mini Mach is the fastest manual templating system.
How does it work?
The underside of the Mini Mach has a rubber gasket which forms one large vacuum cell, when placed on a flat worksurface the vacuum cleaner removes the air from this vacuum cell and the Mini Mach clamps itself down. The top surface has a matrix of cells in two sizes. Together these provide the maximum surface area to hold small or large workpieces. The top surface vacuum cells contain spring loaded ball valves, when a workpiece is pushed down on the ball valve the cell is activated and the workpiece is held firmly.
