Tri
Scribes can be used together mounted on a tri square or combination square
to form a very accurate and hassle free mortise gauge. The width of the
parallel lines can be from zero to as wide as the mounting blade, allowing
for very small and very large components to be marked accurately.
As well as marking parallel lines with pencils as shown here, the Tri
Scribes can also use the scribe points provided with hardened steel scribe
tips to mark the mortise.
For very fine marking lines two Tri Blade cutting gauge accessories may
also be used. They use hyper-fine disposable craft knife blades providing
a higher degree of accuracy than with either a pencil or scribe point.
