The scribe point's lateral direction and depth may be adjusted using the
small brass locking pinch bolt.
The scribe point tip may be aligned flush with the scribe unit's straight
edge for setting range measurements accurately when mounted on a combination
square. The marking point depth height may also be adjusted for lighter
or deeper marking depending on your specific requirements.
