The
Vacuum Control Tap of a self-build U-Mach Kit vacuum clamping work bed
is shown here. The valve is set in the 'off' position. The black rubber
tapered Vented Hose Adapter is used to connect the clamping bed to a vacuum
cleaner or shop extractor system. This unique design, invented by M.POWER
engineers, will prevent your vacuuM.POWER source overheating. It allows
sufficient airflow through the vanes to cool the vacuum cleaner whilst
maintaining vacuum hold down clamping on the work bed. Note its taper
allows a wide variety of vacuum cleaner and extractor hose sizes to be
coupled.
The Evacuation Gallery is seen just to the left of the Bottom Gasket seal
and Vacuum Control Tap Plate. Air is sucked from the vacuum cell down
through the valve holes into the main Cavity, then through the Evacuation
Gallery into the Control Tap to which the vacuuM.POWER source's hose is
attached.
