A
Mini Mach vacuum clamping work bed is used here in conjunction with a
custom vacuum template jig for holding down skirting board components
for single-pass routing operations.
M.POWER Template Gasket material has been used on this single cell vacuum
template on all four sides to create a sealed unit. A single hole in the
centre of the template jig allows air to be sucked out by the Mini Mach
underneath. With a skirting board placed to the top clamping can be achieved
by merely turning the vacuum control tap on the Mini Mach for a really
secure hold that allows the woodworker to rout all sides of the board
without having to move and re-set clamps. In this way M.POWER vacuum template
gasket offers the user the fastest manual templating system available.
Note that the vacuum template jig overhang is supported just as if it
